Double Imbue Penetrating Shot Rogue Leveling Guide (1-50)

Double Imbue Penetrating Shot Rogue Leveling Guide (1-50)
Overview
- This build is fantastic for players that want to fulfill the ranged sniper fantasy of a Rogue. This build has quite incredible AoE clear with ok single-target damage. This build will scale quite well into the late game, so it can be a good choice for someone who does not want to have to try to respec.
- This build utilizes Penetrating Shot as its main source of damage. Since we are using the Combo Points Class Specialization, we want to make sure we are using three Basic Skills (Forceful Arrows) before casting our Penetrating Shot.
- This build utilizes both imbuements. Shadow Imbuement will give us Vulnerability and also a lot of extra AoE whereas Poison Imbuement will help us in single-target fights.

CLASS SPECIALIZATION
- This build is going to utilize combo points. This synergizes incredibly well with Penetrating Shot since it will make it hit significantly harder and have up to a 30% increase to Lucky Hit Chance.

Leveling Aspects (Codex of Power)
These aspects can be grabbed throughout your leveling process and should be thrown on Jewelry slots when leveling.
Offensive:
- Trickshot Aspect is going to be the best aspect for this build. It causes our Penetrating Shot to split off on both sides and deal a reduced percent of the Penetrating Shots damage. Pairing this with Shadow Imbuement will help us clear large packs of enemies. This aspect can be found in the Bastion of Faith dungeon in Hawezar. This should be placed in your amulet.

- Aspect of the Expectant synergizes well with any Combo Point build. Since we are using our Basic Skill to stack Combo Points before using our Core Skill regardless, this aspect will give us an additional damage boost on our Core Skill. This should be placed in a ring.

- Rapid Aspect is a nice aspect for this build to help us build up Combo Points quicker. This aspect gives us a nice Attack Speed bonus and makes the build feel a bit smoother when generating and spending Combo Points. This can be found in the Buried Halls dungeon in Dry Steppes. This should be placed in a ring.

Other Useful Aspects for the Codex
Offensive:
- Aspect of Arrow Storms is an aspect you can grab early on. Since our Trickshot Aspect can’t be picked up until Hawezar, you can grab this in Scosglen in Act 2 in the Howling Warren dungeon. This aspect gives us a Lucky Hit Chance for our Marksman Skills to create an arrow storm at the enemies location. This is strong early and will help us with single-target damage.

- Edgemaster’s Aspect can be picked up in the Oldstone’s Dungeon in Scosglen. This aspect synergizes well with this build since we should be at high Energy values at most times. Because of this, we should be getting a lot of value out of this aspect.

- Aspect of Corruption increases the potency of our Imbuement Skills against Vulnerable enemies. This will be useful for us later on so it does not hurt to grab this. We can find this in the Renegade’s Retreat in Kehjistan.

Defensive:
- Aspect of Might has a lot of value in this build since it gives us 20% damage reduction while using our Basic Skills to generate our combo points. This can be found in the Dark Ravine in Dry Steppes.

- The Aspect of the Protector is another great aspect that will give us a large barrier when we encounter Elites. This can only occur every 30 seconds, but since elites tend to be somewhat spread out, we can utilize this barrier maybe once every other pack. Not a bad defensive option for any build. This can be found in the Lost Archives in Fractured Peaks.

- Another great defensive option is Aspect of Disobedience. This gives us a stacking armor buff whenever we deal any form of damage. This gives the Rogue much needed tankiness that they otherwise lack.

Mobility:
- Wind Striker Aspect is a good aspect for this build since we are going to be aiming for high critical strike chance. This aspect will give us a stacking movement speed buff every time we crit. This can be found in Shivta Ruins in Kehjistan.

Other Helpful Aspects
These aspects could help us when leveling. You can equip these if they are on an item better than what you currently have equipped, but when you are ready to replace it, make sure to extract these powers since they will be useful later on in the game.
Offensive:
- Toxic Alchemist’s Aspect causes an explosion that applies a poison damage over time to a target when we hit a poisoned enemy with a Shadow Imbued Skill. Since we are running both Imbues, we can start the fight with Poison Imbue to poison enemies, and the launch some Shadow Imbued Penetrating Shots to cause massive explosions. This will provide substantial AoE clear.

Alternative Leveling Guides
- The fastest leveling build in the game without a doubt has to be Twisting Blades Rogue. This build has incredible AoE clear and some of the best single-target damage in the game. If you feel like your Penetrating Shot leveling is going very slow, I highly recommend checking this build out.
