Lucky Luciano's Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon Poison Imbue Rogue

High Tier Nightmare Dungeons can be insanely difficult. Luckily Lucky Luciano has just the build for you. This Rogue build rips through high-tier Nightmare Dungeons with ease by taking advantage of some awesome synergies. Between a no cd poison imbue, insane poison damage, huge cc that spreads to additional targets, crazy high attack speed, and a focus on high lucky hit chance and vulnerable damage, it makes sense why this build has such an easy time pushing through high-tier content. Check out Lucky’s channel Here and his build in our Calculator Here!
Note: With patch 1.1.1 bursting venoms was changed to proc less frequently, this slows down the build slightly from what is seen in Lucky’s gameplay however it is still incredibly powerful in high-tier content.
How it works
- Poison Damage
- Poison Imbue: This build centers around poison imbue and poison damage. The goal is to proc aspect of the bursting venoms to reset your cd and spam this as much as possible.
- Twisting Blades: Lucky goes for Improved Twisting Blades for the cc since he also runs Shared Misery to spread it to other targets. This is the main skill you will use when poison imbue is up.
- Aspect of Encircling Blades: If you use twisting blades you are almost always gonna run this aspect somewhere in your build. This aspect makes your twisting blades circle around you upon return dealing increased damage.
- Aspect of Bursting Venoms: This is the aspect that makes the build. Critical strikes with a poison imbued skill had a chance to spawn a poison pool dealing damage, when standing in the pool poison imbue has no cooldown and no charge limit. This build focuses on activating this aspect then standing in the pool to spam poison imbue.
- Aspect of Corruption: Next to the Aspect of Bursting Venoms this is the second high damage aspect used in the build. Slotted on the crossbow this aspect provides up to an 80% buff to all imbuement skills meaning insane damage. With poison imbue being the primary skill-based dps this aspect is huge.
- Amethyst Gems: Since poison damage is what makes this build work Lucky slots Amethyst into his weapons for the increased damage over time.
- Malignant Heart Creeping Death: Very important for damage, this heart increases damage over time effects by a percent for each unique cc effect on your targets. Combined with Shared Misery and the multiple sources of cc that means a ton of free damage on your poison.
- Puncture: Lucky Specs into fundamental puncture for the vulnerable. Note that because of the high attack speed and Pestilent Points you should be using puncture for damage if you cannot poison imbue twisting blades. This is because your focus is on stacking poison which puncture can do when poison imbue is down due to Pestilent Points.
- Pestilent Points: Essentially a failsafe if you do not proc Bursting Venoms. This aspect makes every third case of puncture poison imbued with 100-150% potency. With the crazy high attack speed in the build, this means a consistent free poison imbued skill for both damage and another chance to proc Bursting Venoms.
- Lucky Hit chance: Pestilent Points is just one reason among many that you should look for lucky hit chance, with a higher lucky hit chance you’ll have more procs and more damage.
- Attack Speed
- Accelerating Aspect: This aspect provides an attack speed steroid when landing a crit with your core skills. Lucky slots this on his amulet for increased potency.
- Ashera’s Khanjar: This unique dagger provides a stacking attack speed buff
- Poison Trap: Lucky specs into, this ability provides both cc with the knockdown, and helps spawn the Creeping Death Decoy
- Defense
- Shadow Step: Lucky runs Disciplined Shadow Step for the lower cooldown. This skill is saved primarily to escape cc.
- Dash: Lucky sticks with base dash for additional mobility
- Passives: Sturdy, Siphoning Strike,
- Aspect of Stolen Vigor: This aspect heals for each stack of the momentum key passive, with it being so easy to keep momentum stacks with this build this aspect is a great addition for sustained health recovery
- Aspect of Might: Provides damage reduction when using a basic skill. Because puncture is so frequently spammed for the vulnerable you basically always have this damage reduction.
- Aspect of Disobedience: Possibly one of the most important defensive aspects, can be slotted on the amulet for additional defense if needed, this aspect provides a stacking percent bonus to armor when hitting enemies
- Malignant Heart Revenge: Suppresses 20% of incoming damage. When a Defensive, Subterfuge, or Macabre skill is used all suppressed damage is amped by 250% and explodes around you dealing decent damage to nearby enemies. The damage isn’t as important but it does stack disobedience which is great for defense.
- Key Passive Momentum: This key passive works great here providing Damage reduction, energy regen and movement speed after hitting enough dazed or frozen enemies, which is done easily between all the cc in this build and the penitent greaves.
- Crowd Control: Incredibly important for high-tier content since locking enemies down significantly reduces their ability to hit you.
- Aspect of Shared Misery: With so much CC in the build this aspect pairs nicely as it provides a chance for the cc to spread to other unaffected enemies
- Unique Penitent Greaves: These boots leave behind a trail of frost applying additional cc to enemies, enabling you to further stack cc or make a quick escape mitigating the chance that enemies will follow
- Malignant Heart Trickery: This heart leaves behind a shadow decoy after using a Subterfuge skill that taunts enemies and explodes for massive damage after 4 seconds. The damage is good but this heart is best for taking the pressure off you, since the decoy taunts enemies it will pull them away from you allowing you to combo for free without fear of getting hit. Poison trap will spawn the decoy so be conscious of its cooldown.
- Specialization Combo Points: Lucky runs combo points over inner sight for the additional damage. With proper itemization, resource generation isn’t a huge problem. Further assisted by the fact that Lucky specs for insane attack speed and runs Pestilent Points making Puncture a high damage skill that can proc poison a ton with high lucky hit chance, this means that when energy is low, or if poison imbue is down, Lucky can shift to using Puncture to bridge the gap.
