What Are Plants Used For In Diablo 4?

The Alchemist

Players will find a number of uses for plants in Diablo 4, the primary use is the crafting of potions, elixirs, and incense at an alchemist.

To take advantage of this system, players will need to locate an Alchemist. Alchemists can be found in a number of different locations throughout Sanctuary. To find one, players should head to the nearest town and look for an Alchemist on the map. They will be represented by a mortar and pestle symbol. Not every town has an alchemist so try to scour the larger towns first.

How to Upgrade Potions

The first thing players can do at the Alchemist is upgrade their healing potions. This has a level requirement that increases with each upgrade as well as a resource cost requiring plants, crafting materials, and gold.

Upon entering the alchemist crafting menu players will be greeted with this potion upgrade system. Each upgrade can be accessed once the appropriate requirements are met.
